Review Sessions

Several TFs, particularly those with varied backgrounds, may choose to hold joint review sessions, and the teaching staff should try to make these reviews as uniform as possible.  The schedule for review sessions should be announced in section meetings and posted on the course website.

At the review session, you should make an announcement reminding students that final grades will be available early if students have completed the Q Evaluation.  If there are plans to return exams, or to hold post-exam office hours, teaching staff should make an announcement at the review session in addition to posting this information to the course website.

Rooms for Review Sessions

TFs who hold review sessions must do so during Reading Period rather than during Exam Period because course assignments and course events may not be scheduled for Exam Period.

Room reservations for section space extend through Reading Period and many TFs choose to hold review sessions during the regularly scheduled meeting time and place. If you would like to hold a review session for the entire class, you may do so in the regularly scheduled lecture time and place if the course meets in a room assigned by the Registrar’s Classrooms Office. Otherwise, contact the Classrooms Office for additional options (classrooms@fas, 617-495-1541).

If a review session is to be held outside the section’s regularly scheduled meeting time and place, please contact the appropriate office for options.
